Pullman Summer Clay Camp: August 13-15: Citrus Juicers, Tumblers & Pitchers

Kids and tweens will be ready to make and serve their own lemonade just in time for school!

Day One: During the first day of “camp” tweens and kids will learn the basics of pottery and become oriented to the studio and how to use our tools, equipment and share a community studio, in addition to starting their slab-building process of creating and carving functional pottery.

Day Two: Students will resume their ceramic work, paying special attention to finishing touches, and preparing their pottery for the drying process.

Day Three: Students will be encouraged to create what inspires them, using the skills they’ve developed over the previous two days. By the end of this series, campers will have created everything they need—except the lemons!—to serve lemonade.

Prices include all instruction, clay, tools, kiln firing, and dip-glazing. Pottery is generally ready to glaze two weeks after creating.

Campers are grouped with peers to ensure positive, age-appropriate projects, instruction, and social experiences.

Camps occur Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Add Friday for a bonus day of wheel lessons, fused glass creations or custom glazing project for $49.
