Join us for a nourishing conversation about the wisdom of berries and Earth, circular and gift economies, and the most recent book by Robin Wall Kimmerer: The Serviceberry.

While discussing ideas and strategies to sculpt a kinder world here on the Palouse, we will create a berry bowl. Bring canned food donations with and you can make a functional herb stripper, too!

Using pressed form and pinch-pot techniques, artists of all abilities will create one-of-a-kind ceramic colanders, better known as Berry Bowls! Potters will also learn to create herb strippers and may make both types of functional bowls with the clay, tools and time provided.
