Anyone else just plain out of spoons this time of year? Join us to scoop some joy and creativity into your days with our ceramic spoons workshop!
Food safe, dishwasher safe, and pretty enough for decoration, our workshop empowers artists of all abilities to create charming and demure little sugar and stirring spoons. They make truly adorable custom handmade gifts for friends and family, or perfect to keep and enjoy with your tea and coffee each morning.
In this beginner-friendly pottery class, students can make up to four spoons.
Using the studio slab roller and simple templates to shape one-of-a-kind utensils by hand, artists of all abilities can customize them with sculptural additions, affirmations, well-wishes and textures.

Artists under 12 are invited to participate with an accompanying adult. Be sure to book a seat for each person.
Because of the fragile nature of protrusions on pottery-- like the spoon handles--it is likely that not every spoon created in the workshop will make it through the entire process of drying, firing, glazing and firing again intact. That's why we start by making multiples in the workshop--so the odds are ever in our favor of having a few at the very end.
