Day One: During the first day of “camp” tweens and kids will learn the basics of pottery and become oriented to the studio and how to use our tools, equipment and share a community studio, in addition to starting their slab-building process of creating and carving unique functional and fashion-inspired pottery.
Day Two: Students will resume their ceramic work, paying special attention to finishing touches, and preparing their pottery for the drying process.
Day Three: Students will be encouraged to create what inspires them, using the skills they’ve developed over the previous two days.
Prices include all instruction, clay, tools, kiln firing, and dip-glazing. Pottery is generally ready to glaze two weeks after creating, and ready to go home one week after that.
